Join us for our fourth installment of Jitterbug Boogie, and our first Jitterbug Boogie event of the New Year! The past few dances have been such great successes we thought we would go for another round. We are playing the best music from the 30’s and 40’s, with the friendliest group of Swing Dancing Hep Cats. Hit up the Intro Lesson at 6:00 pm, and stay until 10:00 pm for socializing and open dancing. We are so fortunate to be able to utilize the fantastic floor in the Dick Eardley Center, which has tons of space for us all to get our groove on. This event is open to anyone regardless of previous experience, and no partner is required in order to attend. This event is Swing focused, but all dance style friendly. If you have a style of music you would like to hear at this event, don’t be afraid to make requests.

7:00 pm – Open Dancing Until 10:00 pm
Cost – $10 at the door (no reservation needed)

For years, we have been putting together a dance after Thanksgiving, and it has always been met with great success. This is a great opportunity for friends and family to come together, get out of the house, and do something active. Make sure to get their early, as this tends to be one of our biggest dances of the year.

We’ve been getting such a great turnout with our classes through Parks and Rec, we have decided to hold all of our group series classes at Fort Boise Community Center.  We are still holding private lessons at Carpe Danza ,and our open dances on Mondays and Tuesdays at Solid.  The new classes for March have been posted under the class schedule tab.  You will have to register through Fort Boise to attend.  All of the information is listed under the class description.  Hope to dance with you all soon!
